Went to this years fly-in. Yikes! Last year it was close to 400 aircrafts there and this year I don’t think we passed 40. Of thoose 20 was local and more then 10 was from the UK! The seem more used to the terrible weather…
500feet base made flying impossible most of the time. Funniest part was listening in to the UK guys talking to Stockholm control, they reported 400 feet MSL to the controller three times and he just went on asking them to repeat their height, he could not believe that anyone would fly that low…
